TAT WIN Laboratory
The Differentiator

Where Quality Begins

Our in-house R&D laboratory isn't just a testing facility. It's the engine of everything we do — from batch verification to specialty formulations to ensuring consistent quality year after year.

What the Lab Does

Quality Control

Every batch is tested for DRC, TSC, VFA, KOH, mechanical stability, and trace metals. NIR spectroscopy gives us rapid, non-destructive verification without waiting for traditional lab methods.

R&D & Innovation

We develop specialty formulations for specific applications. Low ammonia blends, custom viscosity grades, and experimental compounds all come from this lab.

Consistency Assurance

Since 2021, we've maintained consistent quality with some of the lowest carbon output in the industry. Our lab is the proof point.

Equipment & Capability

We've invested in industrial-grade equipment because we believe quality control is never a cost centre — it's a competitive advantage.

120 GEA Centrifugal Separators

Our production capacity comes from a fleet of GEA centrifugal separators — the industry standard for latex concentration. This scale allows us to maintain consistent quality across high-volume production.

NIR Spectroscopy

Near-infrared testing allows us to verify product quality in minutes, not hours. Every batch is verified before shipment. Non-destructive, rapid, and precise.

Full Testing Suite

Mechanical stability, coagulum content, metal analysis, sludge content, volatile fatty acids, KOH number — we run the full suite of ISO-standard tests on every batch.

ISO-Certified Lab

Our laboratory operations follow ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Every test is documented and traceable. Full audit trails available for buyers who need them.

The Quality Control Process

1

Raw Material Inspection

Field latex arrives at our facility and undergoes initial assessment. Batch identity is verified against our Synchronised Traceability™ system.

2

Centrifugal Separation

Field latex is concentrated via centrifugal separation. Our GEA equipment maintains precise temperature and pressure profiles to optimize DRC without compromising stability.

3

NIR Verification

Before batch release, NIR spectroscopy confirms DRC, TSC, and alkalinity are within spec. Takes minutes. Zero guessing.

4

Full Lab Testing

Complete suite of ISO-standard tests: mechanical stability, coagulum, trace metals, sludge, VFA, KOH. Results logged in batch record.

5

Traceability & Release

Batch is logged into Synchronised Traceability™ system with all test results. Stored in climate-controlled tanks. Released only when all criteria are met.

6

Shipment & Tracking

Every shipment is tracked end-to-end. Customer receives batch documentation with full traceability chain from plantation to delivery.

Advancing the Industry

Our lab doesn't just test — it innovates. We're actively developing formulations and processes that push the boundaries of what's possible in sustainable latex production.

Specialty Formulations

Custom blends for medical, industrial, and consumer applications. Lower ammonia variants, modified viscosity grades, and experimental compounds for next-generation products.

Process Optimization

Continuous improvement to reduce energy consumption, minimize waste, and maximize yield without compromising quality. Every innovation supports our 2030 carbon neutral goal.

Industry Collaboration

We partner with academic institutions and industry bodies to advance sustainable latex science. Our data contributes to broader industry standards and best practices.

Consistency in Action

Since 2021, we've maintained consistent quality across every batch while achieving some of the lowest carbon outputs in the industry. Here's what that means in practice:

Quality Assurance

99.7%

Batches meeting spec on first release since 2021

Production Consistency

<2%

Variance in DRC across all batches year-on-year

Carbon Footprint

Industry-Leading

Among lowest per tonne of concentrate produced

Traceability

100%

Of production batch-tracked to plantation level
